5 Years ago today

 September 23, 2016 was a hard day for my mom and I and the rest of my family. It was the day we had my dad's funeral and said our last goodbyes. I still miss him and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think and hope that I am making him proud. I took over helping my mom with things that she needs help with. She is independent, but at the same time still needs help with things my dad helped her with. That day, we celebrated him. He was a Broncos fan, so we honored him by wearing our Broncos gear instead of the traditional funeral black attire. I miss you dad.

Its been a while since I last made an update. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy in these crazy times we are still going through. Since my last update, we moved from an apartment to a house my boyfriend bought. I am very much happy living in a house, and having a space for my stuff. (I have too much)

Since we have lived here in our house, I do still penpal, but I also got more into creating resin art, or crafts, or whatever you want to call it. 

I want to try to sell some stuff, but its going to take time to go that far. I have still been doing youtube videos as well.

I am going to end this here. I will try to update more often.

Middle of the week

Well, made it to the middle of the week already. I have 2 more days off then I will be going back to work. I went to my moms to take care of some stuff over there for her. I cooked her some lunch while I was there. I think she enjoyed that. I don't do that very often. I want her to be a little more independent, but at the same time, she is my mom, so why not. 

I also went to the post office again today. Didn't write very much yesterday. I mailed out 2 letters both to the USA.

Since I have been home this afternoon/evening I have already finished 1 letter. Hoping to get more 10. I only have 10 more in my pile. I will be so happy yet so sad when I am caught up. 

Oh, even though I make my own stationery, I ordered more stationery. When I get the order, I will do another youtube video.

Back again

Its Tuesday. Only 3 more days after today till I go back to work. I went over to my moms again yesterday. May go over to her today for a few minutes. I like having days where I do nothing and go no where too. Yesterday I mailed out 4 more letters. I have more to take today. Feels really nice to be able to write.

Sent 3 out to the USA and 1 out to Ireland. I hope my international ones are actually going out. They may be just sitting up at the main post office. They will reach the destination at some point.

Long time no see

Well, I haven't been around for a while. Life got in the way. Working and taking care of my mom. Its still busy but with the stupid corona virus, I took 2 weeks off. Its been really productive. I have been able to write some letters. This is only the 6th and I have done pretty well lately.

These were mailed out on the 3rd and 4th. I have another stack to take to the post office today. Yesterday I went over to see my mom. She is doing ALOT better now.

Last month she was in the hospital with Pneumonia again. Finally over her cough for the most part. So happy she is doing good. Well, that is it for my LONG over due update.

7 11 day

Today Mark and I made sure to go to our local 7-11 to get our free small slurpee. We both had coke mixed with cherry. So yummy. We don't get a slurpee very often now days. It sucks getting older.
