Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day weekend is now over. Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and stayed safe. As for myself, I didn't really do very much. My boyfriend and I did go see a movie on Sunday. We saw the movie Epic. Its a really cute movie.

We also went to walk around a swap meet. Didn't really buy anything, since nothing caught our eye. We went to the park for a while yesterday. Didn't really stay long, as it was hot. We were going to feed the ducks, but they weren't even going after the bread or anything. The water at the park, was filthy, so maybe that is why. Don't really know.

My dad's birthday

Well, yesterday was my dad's birthday. I took him and my mom out to dinner. We went to the buffet. It was really nice. My mom and I told the waitress that it was my dad's birthday and they brought a small piece of cake over and sang Happy Birthday to him. He really enjoyed it. The cake only had 1 candle on it, which my dad had a hard time blowing it out. I would hate to see how he would have done if the cake had 63 candles on it. We would probably still be sitting there today. LOL. I love my dad though. I think he enjoyed himself.

Well, its been a while, time for an update

Well, its been a while since I have updated my blog. I can't believe its May already. For Mother's Day, I took my mom and dad to play bingo and out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant at Sam's Town. I enjoyed spending some time with my parents. Also, I think they both enjoyed themselves too. 

The day before Mother's Day, I took both of my parents to get haircuts. They were not expecting that. They both looked really nice. They were both really happy also. I like to see a smile on their face.

Now, the next thing to do is tomorrow. Take my dad out for his birthday. He wants to go to the buffet at Sam's Town cause they sing Happy Birthday. So, I guess, if that's what he wants that is what we are going to do. Not sure about taking him to play bingo though. We never really win when we play at Sam's Town. We will just have to wait and see.
